These values drive our success, and our people are at the heart of everything we do. The Role We are seeking a Senior Analyst – Strategy to play a critical role in shaping the future of our business. Reporting to the Group Manager – Strategy, this role will collaborate closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to support the development, implementation and execution of long-term strategies and growth initiatives across Sarah Group and its subsidiaries. Key responsibilities of the role will include: - Support in the execution of corporate, business and functional strategies and growth initiatives across the Group in accordance with our Group Strategy.
- Support the governance of our strategic plans and strategy reporting.
- Assist in the development of annual business plans to enable long-term objectives.
- Input into the development of tactical responses to address evolving organisational and external dynamics.
- Support the delivery of strategic reviews with the Group Manager – Strategy and Senior Executives, and updates to our strategy to reflect relevant internal and external factors.
- Assist with monitoring and analysing external market dynamics, including addressable markets, growth engines, customer preferences, competitive landscapes, strategic options, and emerging opportunities.
- Supporting activities to identify opportunities to leverage our existing operating model, focusing on capabilities and potential, functional value chains, enablers and strategic differentiators.
- Assist in the management and execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including evaluation, due diligence, input into transaction documentation and playing an active role in new business integration to support successful transaction outcomes.
- Support the development of business cases for investments and strategic projects.
- Assist in the preparation of relevant internal reporting and presentations relating to strategy and other growth initiatives.

About You You will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3+ years proven experience in either strategic planning, corporate development or consulting (or a combination of), backed by strong analytical skills.
- Experience working as a consultant / advisor in a large multi-disciplinary consulting firm (preferred).
- Experience working on mergers and acquisitions, integrations and / or other transaction-related projects (preferred).
- Strong background in research and data interpretation.
- Excellent reporting and presenting skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
