The Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic, technically minded and motivated individual to join our ICT team in a full-time role. Reporting to the ICT Manager, key responsibilities of the role will include;

  • Provide professional, responsive, timely and effective first level assistance to employees
  • Identify problems which require additional expertise and take appropriate action to escalate
  • Resolving technical issues involving core business applications and operating systems
  • Coordinate, collaborate and escalate incidents within established timelines
  • Order and manage IT assets and licenses
  • Implement, review and develop IT processes and procedures
  • Provide innovative/new ideas to the business groups for consideration and implementation
  • Support the delivery of IT projects

 

The Right Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate, professional and possess the following qualifications and experience and be able to demonstrate these specific skills within the workplace:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing support in a service desk environment
  • Proven ability to effectively monitor and coordinate large volumes of service requests to successful outcomes
  • Experience in security administration including Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
  • Sound understanding of helpdesk systems and processes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work autonomously
